What is a campaign?
A campaign is a series of different advertisements from hand-out leaflets to social media accounts to television adverts that all share the same intention, to promote a business or event, targeting a specific audience.
For example, Military advertisement and propaganda come in various forms, from television adverts to social media advertisement that all have the same intention of recruitment.
The Royal Navy Instagram includes general updates and information about ships, information about recruitment and information about all the different jobs people can learn when joining the Royal Navy. This makes Instagram and various other social medias one of the best viewing points for the public to learn about recruitment. They have just under 320,000 followers on Instagram and much more on other social media platforms.
