Photoshoot with Kiera

Yesterday I had my music shoot which took up the entire day and so I had to carry on planning and producing content for the social media page today.

At the beginning of the lesson me and Carl planned some pictures that we wanted to get of Kiera. We decided that we wanted some pictures of Kiera recording a song in a music studio and some professional photos to fill up the feed.

Due to being in a music video that lasted the whole of Tuesday, I had to start planning for my social media again today. I created a prototype for my social media using the research I did on Monday.

These photos are basic photos with a low quality, however, I just wanted to create a basis for our page. 

I created the cover for the up and coming BBC event using a small online editor called, PicMonkey.

This editor is free to use and very simple. I wanted to practise using it for when I begin editing the photos that I will upload onto my final Instagram feed. 

Carl and I took the photos seen above and then I experimented with editing ideas using PicMonkey. 

Social media research

Today I began by looking at similar artists social media profiles. I looked at artists such as, Ella Mai.

Ella Mai is a young R&B solo artist who regularly posts on Instagram. I analysed her social media for inspiration for when I begin creating our page for our artist.

I also looked on the social media page of the artist that created the song we used, @aka.rubii. I did this to see how she expresses her personality for inspiration.
